METALS CREEK RESOURCES CORP. SAMPLES 64.4g/t GOLD AT PORPHYRY HILL ON ITS OGDEN GOLD PROPERTY, TIMMINS, ONTARIO

Toronto, July 20, 2009.  Metals Creek Resources Corp. (the “Corporation”, TSXV: “MEK”) is pleased to announce that recent prospecting at Porphyry Hill have returned assays up to 64.4 g/t gold in grab samples on its Ogden Gold Property in Timmins Ontario. Porphyry Hill is located 1000 meters northwest of the past producing Naybob Mine, which is the current focus of a diamond drill program being carried out by the Corporation.  A number of areas were sampled around the “hill” by Metals Creek personnel while carrying out a property orientation and surveying locations for the proposed drill holes. Results from the 2000 meter drill program will be reported as the assay data becomes available.

The Ogden Project is an Option Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Goldcorp Canada Ltd. and Goldcorp Inc. (“Goldcorp”) to jointly explore Goldcorp’s claims in Ogden and Deloro Townships, located 6 kilometers south of Timmins city center. These claims cover eight kilometers of strike length of the highly prospective Porcupine-Destor Break which is host to The Dome Mine complex and five large past producers located between three and eight kilometers to the east of the Property along the gold trend. Recent discoveries in the area include Lake Shore Gold’s and West Timmins Mining Inc.’s Thunder Creek Project, located 10 km to the west of the Property, along the same gold trend. Lakeshore Gold and West Timmins Mining recently announced drill results of 12.75 g/t gold over 83.4 meters in porphyry. (Source: NR, TSX:LSG, June 24, 2009).

A total of 46 samples were collected with assays ranging from 0.006 g/t to 64.4 g/t Gold.  All samples were collected within altered porphyry with associated pyrite and chalcopyrite mineralization.  Abundant quartz veining and stock work is present throughout the 425m by 150m porphyry unit which is located 9 km east of West Timmins Mining’s new discovery at the Rusk Zone, also hosted within a syenite porphyry.  A total of nine porphyries have been identified thus far on the Ogden property including the Naybob North, Nabob South and the Thomas Ogden porphyries all exhibiting close association with significant gold mineralization.  The Porphyry Hill mineralization represents a new high priority target for the Corporation.

Sandy Stares, President and CEO of the Corporation States ,“ We are very encouraged by the high grade gold assays from this first phase of prospecting, especially being discovered within a porphyry unit within the Timmins Gold Camp and gold mineralization often exhibiting a close association to these porphyry units”.
All assays were sent to Accurassay Laboratories, an accredited laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario.   The gold was analyzed utilizing a standard fire assay and an atomic absorption finish.
